Juried Member of EBSQ+
I was born and raised in France, an only child, in a big old house full of books. I have been drawing and painting since I was able to hold a pencil, and became interested in photography at the age of 7.
After a brief stint at art school, I moved to England, married and had children, producing art on and off. I then moved to the United States and received a BFA degree at UNLV (Drawing & Painting emphasis), graduating with high distinction. I participated in juried group shows and received several awards. I was given a well-received one-woman show at Clark County Community College (now CCSN) in 1984.
Since I needed to make a living, I spent the next 20 years as a graphic designer and art director. I have recently returned to the fine arts where I find a more personal form of self-expression. A lot of the pieces in my gallery are older, but they are representative of my best work. I have some new photography and have been adding new work all through 2007. I will continue to produce new art and refine my style.
I live in the Southern Nevada desert with my husband; we make frequent trips to Las Vegas and Southern Californis to visit our lovely grandchildren.
