Welcome!

My name is Chris Kapono and I am a self-taught artist living in Missouri. I have been drawing and painting ever since I can remember and art has been a big part of my life. My love of animals and nature is reflected in my art and sometimes interesting things I find on walks in the woods will find their way into some of my pieces! :)

Just a few years ago, I discovered ACEO (Artist Cards Editions and Originals) on eBay and I began buying them from artists all over the world. I had always wanted to collect other artist's work and ACEOs were within my budget! I was spending so much money on them that I decided to try selling some of my own (mainly to support my new habit). My first sale was so exciting! Now, just a few years later, I can proudly say that my art is collected all over the world!

My favorite mediums are acrylic, watercolor, ink and Prismacolor pencils.

I've recently discovered polymer clay and love it! I make mosaics, whimsical figurines, covered journals, decorated boxes, ACEO and more from this versatile clay.
