I have always dabbled in painting. However, without formal training I did not pursue it as a career. When I found myself divorced with 2 young sons to raise I began thinking creatively about ways to support our family. I was incredibly fortunate to have a neighbor who painted for a Greeting Cards Company and helped me get my foot in the door. After staying there for a few years, I began a 15 year career as a Freelance Commercial Artist. When the Mural business became popular I switched gears and began painting Fine Art Murals. For the past 10 years I have had the pleasure of painting inside gorgeous homes and businesses.

Now I am painting for ME! That blank canvas can be intimidating when you have had someone else telling you what and how to paint for 25+ years. I am finally doing what I was born to do...paint, paint paint! I take my camera everywhere and look for paintings in everything I see. I find myself being drawn more and more toward the mundane....just regular people and animals doing regular things.

I am beginning my new adventure as a Fine Artist by offering my Original Paintings here at EBSQ . Most of the paintings are "6 X 6" or 8" X 8" on Gessoed Masonite Board. Larger works are painted on Stretched Canvas. Each piece is coated with several layers of crystal clear Liquitex Soluvar varnish for a permanent sealant. A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is available.
