As a child art had been the center of my life. Never being extroverted I needed a way to express myself. A singer I became. Since I was four I sang in a choir. In High School art and music was a passion of mine as throughout college and a camera was always at my side.
Fast forward some twenty-nine odd years. The camera has still followed me but art and music took a back seat. Realizing after many dramatic life changes, you have to make each day count as if it were your last. Finding that oil painting is a very expressive form of art, I jumped in with both feet.
My work is mostly done alla prima, all in one sitting. I try to capture with loose strokes and color my vision. Some might call it painterly. I am a member and founder of an art guild which covers an 8 county area. I participate in a monthly art walk. My art is for sale on ebay, EBSQ,, and is on display in businesses, galleries and in private collections. I do commission paintings and drawings.
