I have been drawing and painting since I can remember. Back in school, I have done art using a multitude of media; charcoal, pencil, and ink drawings; oils, water color, and pastel painting; air-brushing; collages, photography, jewelry making, and crafting. I continued to draw and photograph in one of my current professions. I was recently influenced by my daughter who is an avid and inspiring artist to continue art within my everyday life. I believe that I am influenced by nature—incorporating many ideas to pieces I do. I recently started doing miniature art pieces or ACEO. It’s really fun and I enjoy expressing my self in a smaller way. For me getting in the mood really helps my art expressions flow—it’s got to be just right; and I usually get caught-up in finishing the piece I started. I get some of ideas when walking (exercising) – I guest my mind gets in a tranquil state and nice ideas come to me. I also get a lot ideas when falling asleep or day dreaming. Again, for me, the mood has to be right.

I believe – “The Artist” – inspired by thought, we use the instruments of our trade, and under our hands create and express ourselves.”
