My grandfather taught me to trust, love, respect and embrace nature. These wonderful experiences inspire my work every day as an artist and bring me balance. Achieving that internal balance and its ensuing translation onto canvas and film fulfills my need for and expression of my symmetrical vision….and I wish for my collector’s the same enchanting experience.

Bio

I have been painting for over 16 years and working with digital photography for over 6 years. I started showing and commissioning artwork at the early age of 15.

I work mostly with acrylics and other natural media’s to create texture and definition. My paintings have a three a dimensional depth that provokes touching (which I encourage). Changing the position of where you view the artwork will continually change the composition of the paintings.

The dragonfly has great meaning to many. My grandfather, of Native American Indian Lineage from the Iroquois Seneca Nation, always spoke of nature and how we should respect it's every being. He taught me about the dragonfly and how it is a great sign of wisdom, luck and prosperity.

The visit from a dragonfly can be very enlightening, bring renewal and can persuade personal clarity. Dragonfly has been around for over 180 million years and has been a symbol for tribal influence throughout the world.

Since my journey as The Dragonfly Artist, I have been blessed over and over with heart warming stories about a visit’s from dragonflies. I love the stories, I have saved everyone. Please keep them coming, I appreciate everyone.

Recently I have been studying my future and paving the way for my children to experience the natural childhood I experienced. The more I encourage my children to trust themselves and their spirit I realize that children with a creative light all over the world do not have the opportunity to let there creative light shine. So now I am in the bare bone construction of a great idea called “The Dragonfly Project”. My hopes are to create a foundation that will help children through all walks of life find their creative vision with the help of living artist’s. As I said, this is in the beta version of development and as I sell more art to support my own family, the sales will also go towards the development of this foundation. If there is something children are missing this day and age is the ability to be freely creative. Investing in the creativity of our children can only benefit the world in a whole. More to come....
