The Mad Hatter is somewhat of a self portrait although not a total likeness. I connect most with his absent mind. Here he pours Absinthe instead of tea... I think the real Mad Hatter would be more of just a "Tea Drinker," I finished this painting after reading Through the Looking Glass. My Mad Hatter was seen on Fox's Americas Most Wanted.
