Media:  Mixed Media Collage
Dimensions:  6x6"
Date of Work:  2008

A New painting in the pure form of abstract expressionism. Def: a manner of painting, drawing, sculpting, etc., in which forms derived from nature are distorted or exaggerated and colors are intensified for emotive or expressive purposes. This one of a kind 6x6" (inch) original collage painting is an abstract expressionism view representing travel and our connection with life and the earth we live on. In this particular piece, it's all about my travels to the beach and my favorite pastime, beach combing! Collage consists of assorted papers including handmade papers, maps, foils, and acrylic.
