How long have you been creating?

I have been painting since I was a child - I sold my first painting 16 years ago.

What is your media of choice?

Watercolour and mixed media.

What are you motivations for creating?

I am moved by the people around me.

What other artists or movements inform your work?

Kurt Jackson, Degas, Ann Blockley and John Yardley. I love watercolour artist's who try something different with their medium and create their own style.

What do you find visually stimulating right now?

I love painting large paintings at the moment especially of people doing something like playing an instrument or walking in the rain.

Tell us about some of your artistic goals for 2007.

I would love to keep working on my own style and have my own solo exhibition.

What would you like your fellow EBSQ artists and our collectors to know about you and/or your work?

I am a very enthusiastic creative person - not just in painting but life in general. I paint every day and am always open to new ideas. I want to be able to create a new style something that marks me out from other watercolour artists.
