This painting was done while traveling in upstate New York near Saratoga Springs. While traveling, sometimes walking and stopping, sometimes in the car as things went by quickly I painted the scene and captioned as I went! You can also see the first handwritten version of one of my 18 "She Poems" this one inspired by the scenes and written during this trip. It was all done in an unfolding Chinese book, in my own adaptation of the true style of haibun, the illustrated travelogue done in plein air in Oriental tradition.
