I made this necklace specifically for the THINK PINK show on EBSQ.. The show is a benefit for the Susan G Koman fund for breast cancer. I have been making lampwork poodles for some time so it was automatic that the pink beads I made for this necklace were Poodles. What is more soothing and comforting than a fluffy pink poodle? Can you think of anything? The total lampwork beads in the piece is 17, and there are 5 poodles total. All lampwork beads are made my be in my home studio and taken directly from the flame and lovingly set into a hot kiln to be annealed for strength and durability. This necklace is 28 1'4 inch long and the pendant is 3 inches long. Rhodonite & black onyx, Swarovski crystals, gold freshwater pearl hearts, cut quartz crystals, rose quartz and glass beads are among materials used and a vintage butterfly Czech glass button closure completes the piece.
