This is a symbolic self portrait. There are angels in the mountains. I believe God gives us mighty warrior angels to help us through the hardships of this world. I have faced more than my share of them! The death of my father, the abuse of step fathers, and then leaving home at 13. So this painting is about a road we travel, and the choices we make when the road spits. I believe we can overcome the hardships and find a better path. Not that it is easy, but there is comfort in knowing the creator loves us, and one day there will be no more tears.
