I love the organic lines of the billowing curtain in contrast with the straight lines of the rest of this painting. To me, it really says 'Motion'.

Fateful news, a sudden change of circumstances. Does the dropped note contain a hopeful message, or is it tragic? Does the open door signify an opportunity, or an escape? Ha! It sounds like the dust cover for a romance novel, doesn't it! I decided the Open Doorway Nibblefest theme was just right for an enigmatic and Victorian spin.
