I'm an independent mixed media artist who loves both cats and fantasty so naturally, my art tends to revolve around both.

Halloween is my favorite holiday and I like to do a lot of Halloween art. A few years ago I started making primitive dolls and found it to be addicting. I also like doing art quilts - paintings combined with fabric that serve as colorful wall hangings.

My husband and I live in beautiful Bucks County with 6 cats and 2 box turtles. We're fortunate that our home backs onto several hundred acres of preserved land so nature abounds despite all the development going on. In nice weather we can take our morning coffee out to the deck and watch the fox and deer in the misty dawn light. Migrating osprey fish in the pond outback and last week we actually saw a large raccoon attempting to ice skate - or so it seemed as he skittered across the frozen surface.

I think my environment definitely impacts my art - I never know what visual treat the new day will bring, and likewise, what new art adventure I'll be starting.
