I'm a self taught artist but come from a family of generations of artists. I'm currently living in Colorado but am originally from Louisiana. I have been fortunate to have lived in many beautiful places such as Germany, California, Colorado and now back to Colorado. My signature paintings are my award winning Polish Pottery still life series and Europe Still life series. Living in Europe and all the inspirations around me I have found my passion for painting.
I paint first and foremost for the love of painting, this is my passion. I eat, sleep and dream about what my next painting will be. I feel very energized when I paint and can not put the brush down, I absolutely love that I feel drained and fulfilled after finishing a painting. What a great feeling it is! My energy and ideas of future paintings are boiling over and I will paint them all! I enjoy bright paintings, loads of colors a painting that POPS is what I strive to create.. A twist of humor is always fun as you can see from my pet paintings and award winning statue series.. I even have incorporated a little humor in my still lifes. To me, still life's are NOT boring.. they are much fun! I love the pottery, glass and collectibles that I'm painting, I traveled to buy these pieces throughout Europe. It was the beauty, love and memories I have that inspired me to start my Polish Pottery signature series and European Still life collection.
I'm painting at a fast pace as I'm trying to capture all I can! I am working on adding some European landscapes and castle paintings! Whew.. I think I need more hours in the day!
I am internationally collected, my paintings are held in private collections in Germany, England, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic and throughout the U.S.
