Raggedy Ann toy doll in Christmas Stocking - ACEO

This is an ACEO of a child's Christmas Stocking with a Raggedy Ann toy doll stuffed inside it...

Coincidentally, the child's name is also "Ann". Little Ann has always wanted a Raggedy Ann doll to play with, and this year, she's lucky enough to actually get one. Santa knows she's been good all year. Imagine her face on Christmas morn when she comes running down the stairs to see this cute little doll stuffed inside her stocking!

I always loved the sweet look of a Raggedy Ann doll, and everyone knows that any Raggedy Ann doll worth their salt is all about that fabulous red mop-top head of hair, so I added extra "oomph" to her hair by using special 3D (dimensional) paint, so that it's actually raised from the surface of the canvassette a bit.

I created this ACEO as a Mixed Media piece on canvassette, using watercolor pencils, ink, and also 3D paint for her hair, as well as the glittery outline around her name "Ann" on the stocking.

I signed it on the back so as not to interfere with the artwork.
