Pitchers in Color

This is a 2 piece set of stained glass painted jugs or pitchers. The larger one measures approx. 6.5"Hx5"W and the smaller one measures approx. 5.5"Hx3"W.

They are quite colorful, organic and abstract, and when the light shines through them they are gorgeous! Perfect for that windowsill that just needs a little "something" to perk it up! I usually blend two or more colors in each section for an interesting effect.

Some of the colors I used here are: Amethyst, Kelly Green, Bright Yellow, Royal Blue, Orange Poppy, Ruby Red, Pink, Soft Patina, Bright Blue, and White.

The technique I use is this: First I lay down the black "liquid leading" outlines, and then after they are completely dry, I set about coloring the individual sections. I use a toothpick to blend and spread the color all the way to the edges of the black outlines, making sure to pop any little bubbles that occur in the paint.

Thanks for looking!
