Stained Glass Jar with Cork Topper

Functionally useful and beautiful - what more could you ask for in an art piece?

This jar has a large cork stopper in it, and can be used as a functional, gorgeous piece of art to store small items in. You can even store your love letters or notes to your paramour in it! I consider this method of stained glass painted art to be "cold" glass.

The abstract design is different from any angle and would look amazing on a windowsill, fireplace mantle, shelf, table or countertop.

It measures approx. 6"H (including cork stopper) and 3.5"W.

I show several pictures here from differing angles including a closeup for detail of color and texture.

The technique I use to create these is this:

First, I lay down the black "liquid leading" outlines. Then after those are dry (overnight), I apply the colors to each individual section, meticulously with a toothpick(!), using it to blend and spread the colors all the way to the edges of the black outlines, making sure to pop any bubbles that occur along the way. Then, when I am satisfied with all the color it is left to "cure" or dry for about a week.
