Mo' Rockin' Nights 2 (5 Pc Wine Decanter Set)

This is a matching Stained Glass Painted 5 Pc. Wine Decanter Set.

The Decanter itself measures approx. 10.5"Hx4"W and each glass measures approx. 7.5"Hx3"W.

The title is a play on words or pun taken from "Moroccan Nights" since the colors remind me of Morocco.

The colors have a beautiful translucency to them that really animates them, (especially when the sun shines through them). I acheive this look usually by blending two or more colors in each section. The colors are NOT painted on with a paintbrush, I actually use toothpicks(!) to blend and spread the colors around, making sure to go all the way to the edges of the black outlines, and popping out any bubbles along the way.

Some of the colors I used to create this set were: Amethyst, Sapphire, Magenta Royale, Ruby Red, Amber, Slate blue, Turquoise, Ivory, and White.

I show several photos here from differing angles, inlcuding detail shot of the wine decanter alone. One of the wonderful things about this set is the gorgeous shadows that are cast by the colors in the glass when the sunlight shines through them, which is most notably shown here in the "angled view" photo.

I signed the decanter on the bottom.

PLEASE NOTE: This set is meant for art purposes ONLY, and is not dishwasher safe, so please don't try it. The outside (where the paint is) should not get wet.

Thanks for looking!
