Angus is a black lab that belongs to Jenny Doss. I wanted to partner with Jenny and paint Angus because I, too, had a black lab once and his name was -- Angus! I loved him so. My Angus died about 11 years ago, at the age of 10, from heartworm. This was during the time that we were all just beginning to learn about it and I hadn't been giving him heartworm prevention like we all do now... :-( I like to imagine that Jenny's dog, Angus, is my Angus reincarnated, spreading his love to another family in another time. Jenny calls him the "best dog in the universe", and says he has such a sweet disposition. Sounds just like my old boy... Jenny, throw your 'Gus a stick for me and give him a big sloppy kiss. :-)
