This piece is all about bugs. My 4 year old is fascinated by insects and the subject has become a daily source of communication for us- hence my inspiration for "Bugsy". All of earth's creatures are very important to me and my family. We are vegetarians because of our respect for them. This piece was created with acrylic on canvas. My backgrounds are very important to me and in this piece I have used a paint lift techinique to accentuate texture. It is an abstract with my usual patterns of geometrics which I incorporate on most of my paintings. Cheers
