Date of Work:  April, 2005

One of the most popular subjects in the world of art be it modern, realist, or contemporary is the female nude.  The female form is one of the most complex things to paint even though many of us enjoy viewing it, no matter who we are.  We can find ladies in this art form through out history.

I imagined these ladies dressing or lounging just prior to the day.  They might grace your bachelor den, not be lost in a woman's dressing area, or even be inviting to the bedroom environment.

I must admit I'll miss my girls once they leave me and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have painting them. I even enjoyed viewing them while I ready them for sale. Alas, I won't be too lonely without them, they are based on a triple reverie tribute to my wife.  All three come together in one purchase, I couldn't seem to split the series apart.

The works are acrylic paint. Both colored and graphite pencils were used for shading after paint dried during several layers of the brush painting process. Last, all is topped off with a brushed satin, archival protective finish.
