Media:  Water Color - Hand Created on Water Color Paper
Dimensions:  15" x 11"
Date of Work:  May, 2005

"These modern hand created, simple raw flowers are Daisies. They are meant to be a fun whimsical rendition of thoughts of Spring. We had such a nice long Spring in Texas in 2005 that I couldn't help but enjoy it and noticed the flowers did too. We saw seen some wild flowers that had not appeared for quite a while.

The reason? We had more rain occurring than in the past several years. There has been such a long drought in the great Southwest. Mother Nature is interesting that way, isn't she? Ever changing is our floral desert landscape and our lives from the lack of refreshing, life giving water. This is my celebration to the results of much needed water, a tribute to the Daisy blossom. They are painted on 90 Lb. Water Color Paper."
