Media:  Computer enhanced digital photograph on water color paper
Dimensions:  3 prints - 12" x 9" each
Date of Work:  January, 2003

The orchid is such a tender flower, collected and grown by some of the world's greatest botanists. It's highly prized and yet adored by the grower and purchaser alike.

Highly romantic, it's often left out of the loop for gift giving, when in fact it's recipient usually appreciates how exotic it is.

This is an orchid study I did with digital photography. It was additionally enhanced in Photoshop to achieve the slight water color effect. Then printed on actual water color paper it lends itself even more so to a water colored flower.

All in the magic of photography, the lighting, and the computer rendering, I enjoyed creating it a few years ago and enjoy presenting it to you, today. I'm particularly fond of the colors in the final products.
