Decorating Idea

Media:  Oil on Canvas
Dimensions:  12" x 9"
Date of Work:  September, 2004

"While the desert in Texas is pretty it doesn't have the Saguaro Cactus that Arizona does, I like those a lot. So, I added them in this fantasy desert. The Mesquite bush or tree are native to the Texas desert, they add a lot of flavor but I 'kicked this up a notch'.

The desert any where is particularly pretty at the night sunset. The skies are just bigger and one can see for long distances into the flow of various colors of light as the sun sets on the horizon."
