This is a shot of cars stacked in traffic. I call it "Bumper to Bumper" as obviously there were a few cars waiting for one another and the traffic light to change. It was shot in Los Vegas. I shot it because it hit me that even though it's a City of great lights and Neon, it still has sections in it that are just representational of American life.

The area was off the beaten path from the Vegas tourist area strip but the cars and the lights of the strip malls and the advertising still struck me as part of the City landscape.

At the moment I snapped the camera it occurred to me that even though I was in Las Vegas, I was in ANY CITY, USA as far as the City Scape appeared at that given moment. It could be anywhere from New Jersey to Texas to California and still hold true for much of our Americana, cars in traffic.

When I got it home, it seemed to change the feeling of it a bit to enhance it in Photoshop. It's a Nikon D70 digital photograph. I tend to want to play around with with my digital photographs for the purpose of enhancement. I really enjoy doing that, even if only ever so slightly. Even the close ups begin to be a stand alone art piece unto themselves.

Thanks for your time and taking a look at my original photography.
