A still photograph was my media of choice for these Spring Orchids. The coral color conveys the freshness of a clear Spring day and I never miss a chance to photograph an Orchid.

These were shot in available light on my trusty digital camera. They were part of a larger bouquet but just jumped at me as if they were smiling begging to be photographed.

Of course I had to comply. They print best on a fine art paper with a matte finish. Orchids are near and dear to me, my wife and I both enjoy them as they remind us of a time in the tropics.
