About Me

I am a self-taught artist. I have created all of my life. After many years and a successful career in the corporate world, my husband encouraged me to pursue my passions. Prior to having my children, I worked as an Interior Decorator full-time, and began to paint and draw more seriously.

My Life

I live in Southeastern Massachusetts with my dear husband and two children. I am fortunate enough to be at home with my children, which keeps me pretty busy! Finally, I have the opportunity and resources to do what really completes me -- create art regularly!

I also consult on residential and commercial Interior Decorating, including floor plans, furnishing and décor selections, shopping services, decorative painting, staging, and the like.

My Art

I have created loads of decorative and functional art over the years, as well as drawings and paintings for my circle of family and friends. Now, I am thoroughly enjoying exploring various media and techniques, while I build a body of work.

One area of particular interest to me is macro botanicals. These are paintings of plants and flowers that are magnified to the viewer, so to speak. The plant is the entire composition. I am truly enjoying this, and have many pieces already planned!

I also enjoy drawing quite a bit, and to date most of my portraits or anatomical studies are in pencil or charcoal. Pastels are great fun, too!

While I have produced art in many media and forms, acrylic painting on canvas is currently my primary focus. I hope you enjoy my work. Peace and bright blessings!
