I am a self taught Louisiana artist, opting not to follow the beaten path of formal art training but rather pursuing my own form of raw, passionate creativity. Always marching to the unheard beat of a different drummer, I have preferred to follow my own unique form of artistic passion. My works are vivid expressions of my intuition, emotion and volatile passion for color, texture and visualization. My works touch us at the most intimate of levels; shaping our emotions through powerful visual stimulation on a very deep and spiritual level. Above all it is my wish that my art communicates to you in a way words alone can not.
My love for the arts became evident even as a small child, preferring to spend many hours in solitude immersed in my own imaginative world of color and crayon. Art was a catharsis for my awkward childhood, being the gifted duckling yet to be discovered. Painting became a way of connecting with myself, and allowing the Creator's gifts to flow through me.
