About the Artist:

I am a professional internationally collected artist who paints primarily with a palette knife.

I live and work from my studio in Southern Oregon. I suppose I'd be considered a self-taught artist, but I really credit the many interactions I've had with other artists who have inspired, mentored and befriended me throughout my career. I grew up in a rural area of Northern California and have always enjoyed creating whether drawing or painting.

I've enjoyed art my whole life. For the last two years I've been working as a professional artist doing commissioned paintings, art shows, festivals, private exhibitions, licensed prints and now I am selling my work online. Many of my paintings are held in numerous private collections around the world.

While planning my career path I realized that all I wanted to do is paint, it is my true passion! A wonderful outcome of offering my work online is that my artwork is more affordable and is available to all. I always enjoy seeing people get a good deal on original art and because of that I plan to continue to make this work available on the internet.

Artist Statement:

I deeply believe that a major component of a fulfilled life is the realization of the creative self. My journey has included researching and designing workshops for development of the right brain. The more I develop my right brain, the more I find my creativity and my paintings improve. I have helped many people realize their creative self through my workshops which has been especially rewarding.

Nature is the greatest artist there is. My favorite thing to do is to spend time surrounded by nature, soak it in and let it inspire me. Recent trips to Hawaii and southern Utah have inspired new collections which I am currently working on now.
