This is my portrait swap piece for the 2007 Portrait Swap. I painted Nicole Helbig and Murphy. I dressed them in red because in the reference photos there was a lot of red, so I thought Nik liked the color. Nik finished her painting of me so quickly and I absolutely love it. I started hers a couple of times and was unhappy so I took much longer. I hope she is pleased with the final painting when it arrives. Murphy was a joy to paint! This is my first portrait swap and it was quite a challenge.
