This is my Rip of Patience's horses, for the 2008 Rip-Off show. I did not have time to finish in a timely fashion, so I am entering it in the Better Late than Never show.

Even though the painting includes many layers, I kept the brushstrokes loose and painterly-looking. I did not aim to represent a realistic horse but rather to convey the essence of the animal.
