This was my second foray into charcoals... and I had fun! I liked the contrast of shadow and light that my magnifying lamp created on the table where I sketch and paint, so I decided to draw it. Keep in mind two things, though: it's not normally this neat (artistic license!) and the can of cola vital to my artistic endeavors is suspiciously absent!
