I love the romance of the Victorian era. I got the pattern for this dress in a book called "Making & Dressing Dolls' House Dolls in 1/12 scale" by Sue Atkinson. The time period is 1840-1860. This was a totally new experience for me, as I'm used to making witches and faeries! Everything is hand crafted, including her ribbon roses.
