Don't you think there's something so satisfying about a big drift of SPAM for lunch on a cold day? This painting is for the SPAM lover in all of us, so stop pretending you don't like it and chow down, just like Betty Lou!
In all the years I've been a member of EBSQ I had never entered the Spam and Trout show. I wasn't planning on it this year either, until Betty Lou (Daddy's Girl) showed up in my sketch book one day, demanding to be painted (and demanding her lunch as well!).
Anyway, I'm in the midst of my annual "let's learn acrylics" phase, so I gave acrylics a shot for this painting. It's an ACEO (artist's trading card) on masonite panel.
