I started painting when I was about 11 or so, and stayed with it: went to Parsons School of Design and Rutgers University to major in art...it's the only way I can imagine living, really.
My first show was at the Limelight in NYC: a huge nightclub...I was 19, and totally bowled over by it. I don't show my work often, I prefer to deal with individual patrons, individual artworks: I like to know why a person likes a piece, what it says to them.
I have a pretty eclectic style: usually somewhat representational, but there's the occasional color study or abstract in there.
I'll never stop painting, not even if the world runs out of paint...I'll be poking around with mud and sticks.
