What can I say about this piece... It came out exactly as I envisioned it which makes me happy. It was inspired by Psalm 23...one of the powerful prayers to me. I'm a spiritual and there is something about Psalm 23 that is resonates strength and hope to me. In the painting there is a woman "...walking down the valley of the shadow of death..." but knows she has nothing to fear. On the side of her gown is the Ankh (Egyptian symbol of life) and on her sleeves are the numbers .2.3. Representing the Psalm. This is definitely one of my favorite paintings! I hope you will consider adding it to your art collection. Please note that the actual painting is much more vibrant in person.
