Although my teenage daughter is beautiful both inside and out, what I find most interesting about painting her, is what I can't see....the parts of her that she keeps hidden. Like any 18 year old girl, she's a complicated mixture of carefree mischief and fun, and an intelligent and mature persepctive about herself and her world. Throw in some raging hormones.....and there's a whole lot that I think SHOULD be kept hidden!
I enjoyed working on Aquaboard for this project...it enabled me to lift out color with a wet brush for highlights and work in transparent washes, without worrying about over working it.
