Clay is a wonderful medium. It gives, both emotionally and physically. The curves of the body were the starting points to play with the abstract design, the positive and negative shapes being formed. The pit fire is always entering into the unknown; will my work emerge enhanced, or will it blow up? I found it a very satisfying process.
