"Ghost Poppies" On a trip to Prescott Arizona last week I saw these beautiful ghost poppies. They were along the road for miles. The pastures were full of cattle and the ground was bear except for the ghost poppies. When we stopped for me to take photo's I found out why. The greenery on the plants were very prickly and make me itch just thinking about them. The flowers are very thin and delicate. Ghost Flowers grow in the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts.
