Thank you for coming to see another unique creation - definitely the only one ever to be made, I had a lot of fun and put alot of love and energy into this journal. Journalling is an important part of an author's life, and as I am just about to submit my manuscript, a flood of creativity came from me, and I created a few lovely pieces. This journal is far from perfect, in fact, I wanted it to be as raw as possible. I used paper adhesive to bind the parchment printed pages (also designed by me!) individually together and then a piece of cardstock type paper that is hand fired along the edges. I embellished the front with a hand fired print of my shamanism page, The Spider, chosen specifically as an animal spirit muse for the writer in all of us. I then used actual tea painted on it to give it a worn look, and splattered, trying for an already well loved volume. I then hand stamped and decoupaged other art and messages inside and wrote a short note to the new owner of this wonderful creation. Finally there is a book plate which you can write your name on, on the inner cover, one that I use in some of my books. This journal is 45 leafs of paper, giving you 90 sides to write on. On the designed side, I have used the top border for the date and title of work written and in the top right corner, the page number.
