Thank you for coming to see one of my favorite passages, Namaste. I have created my own font and inked it in by hand to provide the masterpiece I use to make your print. The art is printed with individual spray jets and are waterproof and fadeproof. This particular copy has hand fired edges and is affixed to a heavier weighted parchment. You will love this intricate design and inspiring passage. - Namaste - ‘Namaste’ or ‘namaskar’ is the Indian way of greeting each other. Wherever they are – on the street, in the house, in public transport, on vacation or on the phone – when Hindus meet people they know or strangers with whom they want to initiate a conversation, namaste is the customary courtesy greeting to begin with and often to end with. It is not a superficial gesture or a mere word, and is for all people - young and old, friends and strangers. (source = http://hinduism.about.com/od/artculture/p/namaste.htm) What I have illustrated here reads: I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light and of peace. When you are in that place, in you, and I am in that place, in me, we are One! I chose the monarch butterfly and added a 'thumbprint' spiral about her in the crown. This piece has very close meanings to alot that I am, and I am grateful to share it with you here! Thank you for looking NAMASTE!!!
