My name is Beth, I've lived in New Jersey all my life. I'm basically a self taught artist, although I did spend a little time in college studying painting I think I have learned more on my own! I was very young when I started and then stopped painting altogether years ago. Then I met the love of my life and my inspiration for everything I create, so I started painting again. I took about a year or two off due to our baby having and now that our son is older, I have time for such things which is basically what most of my time consists of now in between times when he is awake, that is what i do!

More of my inspiration for my work comes from music, movies and literature that I love. Especially a select group of my favorite poets. Mostly I paint portraits and try and blend a little of my likeness into all of them.

I have just recently opened a shop on Etsy where I sell my original work and prints. Hopefully I will be adding more work to shop every week and you can also read my blog where I will be posting all my works in progress and ideas for future paintings!
