A little about myself
Hi, My name is Lynn Dobbins, and ever since I could pick up crayons and draw on the wall, I've been in love with art. My first professional show was at the tender age of four, and I"ve been drawing and painting ever since (except for a brief respite during my teen years when I discovered boys....) Now a bit longer in the tooth, I live with my two kids and two cats in the beautiful wine country of Temecula California.
Animals have also played a huge part in my choice of art subjects, Strays have been in and out of my place as long as I can remember. I started out asan equine artist painting portraits, but pretty much will draw anything that walks,trots,gallops,slithers, swims or crawls. My medium of choice for the last 10 years has been pyrography, AKA woodburning, though I work in pretty much any medium available, oils, acrylics,pastels, ink,and airbrush.
I am a Proud Juried member of EBSQ Plus, and A member of I.A.P.A The International Association of Pyrographic Artists As well as the following groups
