Barbara Lynn began to take her art seriously when she moved to the Sierra Foothills of California and began college classes. She works with acrylics and oils and enjoys creating large pieces. Brushstokes and the use of the pallete knife can be seen in her work. Pure color is often part of her painting. Her work has been influenced by Van Gogh and Monet.

Barbara has participated in the Second Saturday Art Walk on Del Paso Blvd. in Sacramento. Her work can be seen decorating the offices of Wali Danesh, Md in Folsom and Elizabeth LaBrash, MFT in Sacramento. And every fall she opens her studio to the public in the annual Studio Tour of El Dorado County. Barbara Lynn enjoys working with the client to paint commissioned pieces as well as her own creations.
