This original watercolor art card was created for the ACEO "Nursery Rhymes and Fairy Tales" August 2005 theme week. It is one of three unique cards created for this theme. Imagining how a plate and spoon would look with legs took a bit of doing. I used my memory of my grandmother's Franciscan china for the plate, and exaggerated the bowl of the spoon in order to find balance in the picture. The sky is a midnight blue infused with tiny sparkling gold stars and a silvery moon. On the back is the signature of the artist, the date created, and the ESBQ COA number. It is the standard ACEO size of 2.5in by 3.5in.
