Portraits
If you would like me to do a portrait for you, this is how it works.
First, you will send the photo(s) that you would like for me to work from via email or regular mail. I will review the photos(s) and let you know if I will be able to capture your image in a portrait. I may require additional photos, or entirely different ones if the images are not clear enough to work from. I will give you an accurate quote and discuss the completion schedule at that time.
I will drop backgrounds and add a subtle tone in its place unless photo background is requested. You can pick the background color to match the room it will be hung in. I believe a portrait should capture the focal point, that background can sometimes detract from the portrait. If I feel the background is necessary to retain the image composition, I will let you know and one(1) standard additional charge (A/C) will be applied.
I will confirm the price of the commission and let you know an approximate timeline that I will be able to work on your piece. You can then place your 50% non-refundable deposit, which will hold your spot on my schedule and allow me to being working on your commission, as soon as I complete any other obligations.
I will keep in touch, sending images at your request so you can see progress. The images I send for proofing will indicate that your critical eye is needed to offer any adjustments. I will not send a proof images until I feel the piece is complete or very near completion.
Upon commissioning a portrait or piece of artwork from a photo, you authorize my use of the photo(s) as well as any digital images taken as progress or final photos as needed. I retain all copyrights to the artwork and images of the artwork and may use them in advertising my services. No reproductions may be used without my written authorization.

11 x 14 - $120.00 shipping $6.85
16 x 20 - $250.00 shipping $12.00
Payment can be made in the form of Money Orders, or pay online through Paypal.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Completion may vary between 2-6 weeks. Once final approval is obtained, your Commission will be sent via USPS Priority Mail, or global air shipping. Charges are calculated based on your location and zip code. All buyers will be charged the actual shipping charge.
NOTE: If you are ordering for the holidays, allow up to 10 weeks for completion of your project. Christmas orders should be placed no later than November 1 to ensure delivery by Christmas.
Custom pet portrait are done from emailed photos. Please send a few clear detailed pictures of your dog.
