This fused glass rainbow ripple of a sculpture was made by Tony Roberts at his studio in Lancashire. It's made from hot-fused glass around a stainless-steel cable. Hang it inside or outside. Sun, rain, steam, snow... it loves them all. As the light changes round the sculpture, it changes too, relecting and refracting the light. Hang it from a tree, a porch, a window, or in a corner of a room, lit with a spotlight, perhaps in front of a mirror... you choose! One side is glassy, the other textured and rugged, creating multiple reflections and lots of interest. Tony Roberts' glass is unique. He creates his colours from metals fused within the glass... Silver gives yellow, iron and copper give reds and greens, cobalt gives blue - and bronze, brass, chrome, gold, all create their distinctive colours. This sculpture comes to you with a formal, numbered, certificate of authenticity. This is an artwork to keep. The stainless-steel cable is finished with a crimped loop.
