Recent work, preparation for exhibit. The reduction and simplification of my images is intentional. I want all shapes play equal role to color. Simplified images lose their content when looked at from close distance. They become islands in the see of color. Also texture changes from sleek to rough throughout the painting. The photo doesn't show true colors. The skin tones are much lighter.
