This turned out a little more abstract than most of my work which I can't decide is good or bad. I hope it's obvious it's hollyhocks in a garden with a chair, I tried to capture the mood of the background abstractly. This was a break from my aceos and I didn't quite have time to undertake a large oil or watercolor like I have been itching to do.
